In 2009, I moved to the east coast to continue my education at William Paterson University. I enjoyed problem solving with my students and figuring out the appropriate exercise or explanation to help them get over a particular hurdle. I feel like I have a very loose teaching style that is grounded in the fundamentals. I do not put deadlines or timelines on any student's progress, and I also realize that each student's needs are unique to each and every person. I find that learning and memorizing songs and simple repertoire is an effective way for beginning and intermediate students to advance, and that following students interest goes a long way for the learning process!
