Throughout the years I have taught in person, online, have led flute choirs, and have been a clinician for woodwind sections for bands and orchestras. I am a recent graduate from The Juilliard School. I have performed with orchestras around the Tri-State area, and made my debut with the Philadelphia Orchestra in 2013. I have performed in masterclasses across Europe and America with such teachers as James Galway, Julien Beaudiment, Denis Bouriakov, Marina Piccinini, Philippe Bernold, Jim Walker, Karl-Heinz Schtz, and Jill Felber. In each flute lesson, I typically begin with a bow as respect for myself and the student. We typically start with tonalization warmup from Suzuki Book 1. The student listens and produces the best sound they can make after listening to me. My goal as a teacher is to help them become their own teacher and evaluate the things they can improve upon.
