There is no reason for music lessons to be dreary, almost all of my students enjoy their lessons and have no problem coming back week after week to be challenged again. During my master's degree at University of Louisiana, I was a teacher of record for a woodwind technique course, which focused on scales and supplementary lessons to the student's lesson with the flute professor.
