For age 0-4, I have opened Zumbini program for those babies and their caregivers. My piano lessons start at age 4. For those beginner students, I use Piano Adventures from Faber and Faber, typically focused on lesson books, performance books and theory books. When students move on to the higher levels, I will start to introduce easy classical repertoire, such as J.S. Bach or Bergermuller. I am originally from San Diego, CA, and began playing the flute in my elementary school band. While growing up in San Diego I served as the principal flutist of the San Diego Youth Symphony, and played with local community orchestras. In 2003 I moved to NYC to pursue my Bachelor's Degree at the Manhattan School of Music, after graduating in 2007 I entered the Master's Degree program at The Juilliard School, and finished my degree in 2010.
