My teaching includes all aspects of music; Musical theory, sight singing, as well as Music History. Your child will understand that while learning music and an instrument can be fun, there will be some work involved if they want to become great. I usually use either the Alfred or Rubank method books to supplement a curriculum that I tailor make for each individual student. Read More

I love helping others develop a passion for music! Because of this, I find it highly important to work with each student at their own pace applying techniques that fit their learning style. I combine a variety of techniques and ideas that help keep the lesson engaging and fun for students of all levels and ages. Students can also bring in music they are working on outside of our lessons (band music, original compositions or music they just want to learn) and I can help them improve on the piece. Read More

Many of my students have been accepted to colleges as music majors or minors and my students frequently get the highest ratings in solo competitions. School band directors often recommend me as a coach for their most serious students, since school music programs usually do not have the capacity for intensive individual coaching. Read More
