By 2008 I had completed the first of my two graduate degrees in music. With this accomplishment the students seeking lessons with me generally became older, typically in the junior high and high school ages. Some of my former students are now professional pianists. I took up the flute in 1985 in order to work with my husband, a classical guitarist, and we have been making beautiful music together. I do use some of the Hal Leonard's Essential Elements Series material cause it is consistent and user friendly.
