For a students solo repertoire, I will give all my students lots of choices. I use collections such as Forty Little Pieces for Beginner Flutists (Louis Moyse) for beginners, 24 Short Concert Pieces (Hal Leonard) for intermediate, but I also have my own supplemental repertoire list with music for all levels (especially more advanced). My first experience teaching began in 2014 when I began working marching band camps as the flute tech. I was responsible for helping the students learn marching fundamentals and drill for the show, in addition to running music related sectionals with the flute section daily. I started teaching privately in the fall of 2017, teaching middle school and high school students.
