Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

Finding a student's beginning skill level as well as interests is always the first step to making a lesson plan. I like to teach building blocks, make sure they are solid with those building blocks, then I introduce more complex ideas within the existing musical framework. I began playing drums in 1994. In 1999, I joined my first band, which was blues/funk/rock. We had a ton of fun, recorded two albums in the studio, won a bunch of contests, played Hollywood and countless local gigs. Since then, I have recorded two more albums with various bands and have massive amounts of stage time as part of a live group. My teaching experience dates back to when I was a kid, enjoying sharing what I had learned with other kids. While I went to Musician's Institute I was a top student and was selected to teach a class to fellow students. While studying at the Music Conservatory in Copenhagen I was teaching in 2 music schools as well as keeping private students. After moving the the United States I kept up teaching private students as well at teaching at music schools all the way until today for a total of about 35 years of experience. Read More

I like to understand where a student is at in terms of goals, evaluate what it takes to accomplish these goals, and work with them using stepping stones if needed.
