Since then, I accepted a position as a summer music instructor at Lakes Community High School in Lake Villa, IL. I then continued teaching once in college by volunteering at local high schools helping new students to the band programs learn brass and percussion. I’m an avid columnist for Modern Drummer Magazine and I sing/play guitar for one of Chicago's best Nirvana tributes called Smells Like Nirvana.
