I almost always have taught lessons at my own studio where students come to me because that always seems to be the most conducive environment for learning and getting inspired. I first started teaching drums part-time over ten years ago. My students have ranged in age from 12 to 45; my students tend to be at a Novice level, though I have also taught intermediates. I teach in my own home studio or at the student's house. Working on the drum pad as well as the drumset provides the student with multiple forums of expression and learning of multiple skills.
