From 2009 to 2010, I spent much of my free time volunteering at a church in the southwest side of Tucson, working with the Royal Rangers, a youth group whose aim is to keep kids off the street and to introduce a positive influence in their lives. I taught the groups drumline, which consisted of youth from grades 5-12.
