Hi! I moved to Los Angeles from Australia this year to further explore my love of music, performing, teaching and law! I have played the drums for 25 years and have been teaching for 15 (as an instrumental teacher and a classroom music teacher). In Australia I completed Bachelor of Laws, Graduate Diploma in Education and Bachelor of Music (Majoring in Jazz Drums) degrees. I am currently enrolled at the USC Gould School of Law, where I am completing a Master of Laws with a certificate in Entertainment Law.I have performed in a variety of bands ranging from rock, funk, jazz, latin and was also in a drum corps for 4 years. Whether my new students are children or not, I will usually start from the basics and work our way up from there. With children, I will stretch the basic lessons further until they have a solid foundation to build on. I write out every single lesson plan by the date and have each student do the same so that we do not lose track of where we are.
