After graduating from college I joined the Peace Corps. I spent 2 years in Tehran, Iran playing in the Tehran Symphony Orchestra. I returned to the U.S. and went back to school to get my Masters degree. I worked as a music teacher in the Bronx, N.Y. for several years. After that I worked at an electronic music studio in Hawthorne, N.Y. The first few lessons will be to gauge where the student is at technically, as well as musically. I like to cater to the needs of the student. Lessons can be as fast paced, or slow moving as the student would like. The important thing is to be comfortable with a technique before introducing new ones. I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who would love to work with students and share the beautiful art that is music. I've been studying and playing drumset for 7 years and I am a rising sophomore at Belmont University. There, I am studying commercial percussion with an emphasis in performance and will get my degree in Bachelor of Arts in 2025.
