Recent venues include theAfrican Festivalin Lowell, MA and theNortheast Kingdom Music Festivalin Albany, VT among other clubs and festivals across the United States. In addition to these creative endeavors, I have recently been touring and recording with the renowned World fusion band Newpoli. While I was a student I began to study with some truly great musicians who really helped me realize my potential. I got some jobs teaching area high school drumlines and marching bands and really enjoyed the experience. When I first started playing I was mostly interested in marching bands and drumlines. For beginning students, I typically begin by teaching how to use proper technique and how to read music, chord changes or tablature. Once the student is ready, I will work with the student on pieces or songs that we choose together. For guitar students, I use songs as a basis for teaching scales, new chords and improvisation.
