I like to use lots of humor while I teach because I think learning should be fun, and music is an amazing art. My teaching experience began in high school as a teachers assistant for a percussion ensemble class as well as helping with an after school percussion/hand drums club. I'm currently in a metal band, based in Portland, that tours every year. I also work as a session drummer for touring bands. The largest show I've ever performed was in front of 80,000 people at Wacken Open Air in Germany. Ever since a child, I've loved learning, music and sharing my passions! Through grade school I grew into the role of a leader and a musical/visual artist. In 2018 I graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelors in K-12 Music Education with a minor in Spanish. My years of teaching grade school has reaffirmed my passion for teaching, and drive to be the best teacher I can.
