I am a successful instructor, drummer and musician who enjoys sharing knowledge and helping sudents acheive thier musical goals. I graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia with a Bachelor's degree in Jazz / Commercial music performance. After college I spent years honing my playing skills in all types of musical situations as well as teaching, and working as a recording engineer. I also spent 2 years studying at the Drummer's Collective in New York City where I worked with some of the best teachers in the country.  I have had experience playing and teaching rock, jazz, funk, r&b, and blues as well as collegiate marching/ drumline and orchestral percussion ensemble experience. I teach the fun way by teaching the student what they would like to know by tailoring each lesson to fit there personal goals, needs and questions. We learned new song arrangements as a group, rather than assigning parts and having singers learn at home. Conversely, they taught me! It was a great collaboration.
