The recording of each lesson gives students something to look forward to at the end of our session. Then we discuss both their strengths and the areas of opportunity for growth. This practice helps students progress over time. Eventually, they become more expressive, creative, confident, engaged and excited about learning and sharing their talents with others. Read More

I have over 25 years of teaching experience in both drum set and world percussion. I also teach a unique "hybrid" combination style of drums and percussion. My experience as a veteran teaching artist, private instructor, and certified drum circle facilitator, has given me a unique perspective for systematic and comprehensive rhythm instruction.
