Music is my passion and I love sharing it with others. I've been an instructor for drums and percussion for over twenty years. After graduating from Berklee College of Music, I moved to L.A. where I continued my studies alongside ultra professional drummers Dave Weckl Chad Wackerman. While living in California I was able to gain invaluable experience performing on stage and recording in major studios. After moving back to the east coast I remain active in the music scene local to Baltimore, Maryland as well as playing nationally with groups ranging from Nashville, California and New York. The goal is to get students energized about striving for excellence in everything they do, and music is a terrific vehicle to witness those results. I developed my passion for teaching during my time in Chicago. I directed percussion programs at Niles West High School, Fenwick High School, Rauner College Prep, and substitute taught at Chicago School for the Arts.
