Once students have gotten the basics down, I begin to introduce other types of books such as technique books, scale books, etudes, or even solo repertoire. I often offer incentives for younger students to encourage regular practice. I provide constructive feedback after every lesson and encourage questions as I feel reciprocated communication opens opportunities for learning.
