I currently teach private students and direct a community orchestra.
The most rewarding thing is watching a student achieve their goals. Therefore I tend to help them set realistic goals for each lesson and allow them to progress at his/her own pace, all while having fun doing so. I acknowledge achievements and tailor my teaching to their needs, because I realize not one person is the same so neither is my teaching.
Passion is the best thing I can hope to see in my student's eyes. A teaching session is always open for discussion so that I can find out about the student's favorite music. I have found that giving someone the tools to explore and master their own love leads to the most growth. Assigning goals based on these interests allows a student to practice regularly and improve. I make sure that the students feel a sense of accomplishment for the hard work they have done.
I am a very flexible teacher and have experice with students at all different paces. I like to set realistic goals for my students and keep them motivated. It is very important to me that my students feel like they are succeding in music and excited about playing music. I believe a good way of doing that is to acknowledge their accomplishments and to praise their progress.
I have taught over 25 years all levels all saxophones and all types of music. Whatever your goal is I am there to bring you to the highest level in your performance with confidence and fun doing it. I encourage you to do any extra recitals, competitions, concerts etc if that helps you to develop your expierence and confidence. I take pride in each and everyone of you, I am professional, fun and willing to be your lifetime coach in music. I can teach beginning guitar as well as elementary only clarinet and flute.

The BBB has affirmed Musika as a reliable, trustworthy, safe business to work with, and we have the customer feedback to support this. We are continually working to make sure that Musika is a business you can trust.
Background checks available on instructors. Instructor can opt to have a background check on file. You can request to only be connected with teachers that have a check. The choice is yours.
The teachers in our network create a customized lesson plan for every student. Topics covered during Musika's clarinet lessons may include, but are not limited to: learning the notes using a clarinet fingering chart, proper embouchure and tonguing technique, how to read music, how to care for your clarinet, which reed strength and mouthpiece to use, music theory, basic form and analysis, musicianship skills, or how to become a better musician, and most importantly, how to have fun playing the clarinet!
Many of our adult clarinet students are complete beginners, while others haven't played their instrument in over 10 years. We also have teachers who can work with more advanced students looking to take their skills in both advanced classical repertoire and/or jazz improvisation to the next level. The teachers in our network have proven methods to get you the results you desire.
We suggest starting clarinet lessons at age 7 or 8. A student should be able to hold the instrument correctly, and their fingers must be large enough to do this. Playing clarinet also requires significant lung capacity, which can be difficult for a younger child.
Taking clarinet lessons in your home offers a great way to master your skills on the instrument without ever leaving your home! Many students and parents find this very convenient as there is no additional time for travel.
Young students are best-suited for a plastic student model clarinet. Plastic is durable, easy to care for, and can be taken outside for marching band. Models made from wood, offered by companies like Yamaha and Buffett, are typically recommended by conductors of school wind ensembles and orchestras for indoor concert use.

I was skeptical at first not knowing what I was getting my self into.. I am very happy that I forced myself to get into voice lessons because Eli is an awsome voice coach.. Very skillful and he helps you reach the goal you are trying to reach.. He is also very helpful with getting you to open up and come out of your shell and being heard.. I would and I already have recommended friends and family to sign up with Eli if they're serious about singing..

I feel she is a very professional teacher and I have already recommended your company and her to my friends who have children that play musical instruments. My 8 year old son has never been so enthusiastic to play his violin. His skills have improved almost exponentially since we have began lessons with Lauren. Your company has exceeded my expectations and I am very happy to have found it online.

"My daughter has been a student with Mark for over a year. She has come so far and has learned so much in such a short time. Mark is extremely talented and knowledgeable. He is very serious, patient and super nice. If your child or if you really WANT to learn the drums, then I highly recommend Mark. He is our third instructor and the best one yet! You will not be disappointed." Michelle S.

After moving from NY and parting from our amazing piano instructor, we thought we couldn't find a piano teacher close to what we knew. We are happy to say Musika matched us up with someone professional and friendly who enjoys teaching younger students. Thank you! We definitely recommend Kuan as a piano instructor :)

"My daughter is 10 years old and has been taking piano lessons with Mr. Dale J. for almost 4 years now. She is progressing nicely. His kind and gentle way make for a very positive learning experience. Mr. Dale J. is encouraging without being harsh or belittling. He is patient and the ideal instructor for my daughter."

My 4-year-old has had several lessons with Martina now, and he has learned a lot. Obviously, it is challenging to teach such a young child, and he has learned quite a lot in a short time, and is very excited to learn about violin and for his lessons. I think Martina is doing an excellent job, is quite patient, and is teaching him in such a way that he can really remember his new skills from week to week. We look forward to many more lessons with Ms. Martina!

Henry has been a great piano teacher since I started lessons about a month ago, and he is helping me realize a lifelong dream. He is patient, plays beautifully, is easy to learn from and a very nice person. I took lessons as a child for a year or so, but never followed up over the years. I always said that I would once I retired and found the right instructor. That time is now. Thank you Henry and Musika!

Dave is a fantastic teacher. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to students that I think is invaluable. At the same time, this does not limit him from working with beginning students. He is very communicative with the parents as far as schedule changes. We are so grateful to have found him!!

Steve gets you started right away with songs but also goes into music theory and reading music which adds to understanding and appreciation of the music. He is very approachable and you can tell that he absolutely loves music and teaching. It is hard not to be excited about the process of learning with Steve. If you are considering lessons I highly recommend Steve for any level of student.
Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.Ok
Are you sure that's your only availability? The more availability you easier it will be to arrange a teacher for you.
