I like teaching private lessons because students learn valuable skills and techniques that will help in every aspect of a student's life. I grew up playing pipes in Pennsylvania and began on the practice chanter at 10 years of age. Growing up near Pittsburgh, I happened to be in an area of the U.S. that had many good pipers as well as a successful summer camp program.
