My musical career started as a singer growing up in Washington DC. I have been playing saxophone for almost 15 years and have been composing for 8. I have maintained a private studio for 6 years and have taught students from 8-18. This opportunity opened doors for me to teach music theory and private saxophone and flute lessons in a community based project that was geared towards using music for social development and change in the inner city youth.
