If there are no immediate goals for my students, I prefer to focus on classical technique and tone exercises that I compile through a variety of method books for each woodwind instrument. This includes but is not limited to: Moyse, Kroepsch, Baermann, Ferling, Shaw, Filas, Lacour, and many others. My methods are very creative and different for each students, depending on what the student wants to learn. I have a notebook for each student to keep track of how the student is progressing. I love to keep the lessons engaging and fun, sometimes I like playing duets or just sight read for fun. I do not yet have a home studio, but am willing to go straight to the student as well as conduct online lessons. These books are primarily classical pieces, but I also use digital accompaniments for jazz and popular music. Theory and ear training are also part of my lessons.
