My teaching experience began in 2008, when I began teaching private lessons on various instruments, on voice, and on conducting. I later went on to teach band and choir at Cedar Bluff High School in 2011. After this, I volunteered as the band director at Valley Head High School in 2014. I have enjoyed every moment of teaching music and have taken so much from the experiences that I've had. I play professionally for many local Denver bands including jazz, blues, pop, contemporary, and have my own music business to play events at weddings, parties etc. I have traveled The Noreweign Cruise ships twice on jazz cruises and had the opportunity to play with the famous bassist Rufus Reed and saxophonist Lou Donaldson. I am originally from Austin, TX, but moved to Colorado in order to pursue a masters degree in performance and pedagogy at the University of Colorado Boulder.
