Anthony Rodriguez is a Chicago-based woodwind doubler who is proficient in flute, oboe, saxophone and clarinet. He studied these instruments while attaining his Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from Brooklyn College under the esteemed Bernard Goldberg (Flute), Bob Ingliss (Oboe), and Paul Cohen (Saxophone). I began teaching the clarinet in 2016 at Highland Park High School in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. 7 of my 8 students in 2016 placed in the TMEA Region Band, and another 2 went on to the 5A TMEA All-State Symphonic Band. In 2017, I had another student place in the 5A TMEA All-State Symphonic Band. I took up an additional job teaching at William B Travis TAG Academy in Dallas, where I taught beginners and 7th graders.
