My journey as a cello teacher began when I was asked by my teacher to assist him with a few college level students who were in the same cello class as me during my BA studies in Tel-Aviv University. I then discovered my passion for teaching people how to improve their technical skills in order to be able to express themselves musically. I very much believe in a dialogue between student and teacher - the relationship is very much a two-way street, as we can both learn from one another in many ways. I dont have a dogmatic, one size fits all approach; rather, I adjust to each individual student and his or her own needs. I do believe in laying the groundwork through fundamental technical training, however I approach this in different ways with each student based on learning styles. Read More

My teaching began in senior year of my high school. I taught at Memorial High School Orchestra, where I lead cello sectionals, taught one-on-one lessons, and coached chamber ensembles. In addition, I received training in introductory conducting. I believe that with my lessons, I have a balance between having fun and actually improving.
