I am a cellist from Minnesota that has just moved back from living in New York City for the past seven years. I graduated with honors and received the Kagan Orchestral Performance award from the Aaron Copland School of Music under the tutelage of Marcy Rosen. I began my Bachelor of Music degree at New York University, studying with Clive Greensmith of the Tokyo String Quartet. My other teachers have included Jerome Carrington at Juilliard Pre-College, Pitnarry Shin of the Minnesota Orchestra, and Sachiya Isomura of the Minnesota Orchestra. Read More

All the knowledge given me by this great teacher, plus the experience of playing concerts in Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and around the world with the world's best artists is mygreat joy to pass on. I listen carefully and ask questions, basing instruction on what creates success. My approach is to make learning fun. I bring markers and stickers and other visual aids to create a unique learning process. I like to use games and sayings to help remember things, many of which I've developed over the years. Read More
