I have been the principle cellist of my high school chamber orchestra, nominated for top ten in the country, for a few years. I want them sprinting up the stairs and ringing my bell several times, because they are so excited to get started! Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument.
