I started teaching in minneapolis Schmitt music through my undergrad with total beginners for 3 years which taught me a lot and then more during masters. Taught all ages at eastman community school when studying at Eastman and was a Studio teaching assistant for Steven Doanes studio and taught first years undergrad students in group technique classes and one on one repertoire lessons. I have been teaching for more than 30 years, mostly in the public schools as well as privately. I have instructed large groups and ensembles, as well as smaller musical groups in and out of the public schools.
