I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. I graduated from Yale school of music with master degree of cello performance in 2020. I have performed in renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall, John F. For early students, I typically start with the Suzuki books, as I like the organized technical and musical progression of each piece. As the students develop I begin to add supplimentary materials such as etude and scale books. Students can progress from open strings to Bach with ease. Yearning a deep and fulfilled interest in classical music has enabled me to uniquely interpret classical music on a complex analytical music level & compositionally dissecting music. I usually begin by working through the Suzuki method books, and then from there try to branch out into other material depending on the student's skill. I'm always open to trying different songs and even encourage my students to find songs that they want to play. While working on different pieces, I'll also focus on techniques of holding the cello and the bow, things that I consider very important to correct and improve, especially at a young age. Read More

I'm very passionate about teaching and love to work with all ages of students. I had a studio in Mountain Top, PA for 25 years until our family moved to Utah. I recently relocated to the Lehigh Valley. I've performed with many orchestras and have coached many students to be able to compete and perform at Carnegie Hall for many years. For younger beginners, I like to start with a method book such as Essential Elements to build the foundations of music and the instruments. After students have worked through this, we begin working on solo repertoire to get students excited to perform songs at their first recital! This is also a great time to begin learning about improvisation and creative playing, something that we all already have within us.
