By the time I was 12, I joined the musician's union, playing lead guitar in my 1st group, in the St. Louis area for the next 8 years. Moved to Hollywood, Ca.. to further my life as a musician ,soon playing bass and played on TV shows such as The Merv Griffen Show, and other T.V. shows,recorded 2 sound tracks in films andplayed on the" World Famous Sunset Strip" for several years and touring across the country. First lesson I start by assessing what level the student is at and what goals they have with their music and develop a lesson plan from there. I focus first on fundamentals of sound and technique to build a foundation for the student then work on scales and repertoire to get them playing music. From there it is a focus on musicality and performance. A lesson plan for example may be working on solo repertoire by breaking down the piece by focusing on different elements that make the song; the scale, they rhythm, certain patterns by measure, techniques required, etc. Read More

I've always like the creative arts, which led to owning my own advertising agency based in Saint Petersburg, managing advertising accounts that included a division of Anheuser Busch Agricultural. My experience date back to my early college days, where I began as a volunteer piano teacher for veterans in a retirement community. I taught for a few months, when I was approached by two different women, one who wanted me to perform cover songs at the retirement facility that she managed, and another who wanted me to give her husband private music lessons.
