My teaching experience began in spring 2008 at a local church where taught piano drums classes as a music instructor to students ranging from ages 5-18. Throughout college I was a piano and voice instructor at the Boys and Girls Club Music Clubhouse in Boston MA where I continued teach students ranging from ages 10-18.For the past three years I have continued to provide private instruction and tutoring for students of all ages.I find that my students have a much more pleasurable learning experience, when they are able to apply what they learn in ways that are meaningful to their desire and aspirations.I've always encouraged my students to uphold a positive work ethic and mindset when embarking on their musical journey. My teaching experience began right after high school where I joined my musician friends teaching at K-Piano Music Academy. I taught children beginner piano schools K-5 in an afterschool program and have been teaching aspiring musicians mostly online since 2020. Now I want to expand my experience to the people in our community, encouraging musicians of all skill levels to bring them to another level they might not have expected. For beginner kids, I typically use the Liela Fletcher Lesson Book series. I find that my students usually progress faster with this series. For teens and adult beginners, I use the James Bastien "Older Beginner Series or John Thompson series to get them started.
