Depending on experience level I like to get people making music as soon as possible. I know that trudging through the basics can be tiring. Of course some basics are neccesary but I like to make the basics sound as musical as possible. We will cover the fundamentals but we'll do so in such a way that it won't feel like so much work. For most beginner students, I introduce open chords and basic single note playing, eventually leading to chord progressions and basic classic rock riffs.
