I began teaching music at the age of 15, primarily guitar and piano lessons for beginners ages 7-14 in my hometown of Parker, CO. At 16 I began teaching my students basic music theory and intermediate instrumental instruction. I began my musical journey at age 2 with my first gig, sitting in on percussion while on a family vacation, at Hilton Head Island. SC. At age 8, I began formal studies on the violin and viola with the school orchestra, winning several state and regional awards. It wasn't until age 17 that I discovered the bass guitar and immediately starting playing in bands with my friends.
