The type of material we can cover is very broad including scales, arpeggios, chords, chord construction, music theory, music reading, songwriting, learning songs, technique, etc... However it's very important to me to not teach material the student is uninterested in. Music is a language and every genre has its own language aside from music as a whole. I took guitar with Michael Engberg there for two years and also took fundamentals of music, music business, music technology, and a song writing class. I transferred over to Metropolitan State University of Denver and began my Bachelors degree sequence under the wing of Alex Komodore. I graduated from Metro in May 2014 with a Bachelors Degree in Classical Guitar Performance, and the experience thus far has been amazing.
