Since graduating from Bethany College in 2010, I taught at a music studio in Wheeling, WV. Unfortunately, the studio closed down. Along with teaching there, I was giving private lessons from home and continue to do so. Teaching is something that gives me the opportunity to pass on what I've learned so far and also to instill students with the opportunity to continue a journey of lifelong learning with music. I originally enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown to earn a degree in Elementary Education. After my second year, I left to persue other endeavors. In 2010, I began taking on guitar students in Windber, PA teaching beginner and intermediate guitar lessons to several high school students. I have done group sessions which usually turn into jam sessions focusing on each students individual strength while showing them how to play with others, but I also enjoy individual sessions that go more in depth with structure, form, rythm, and some music theory involved.
