I have been playing flute since 7th grade and marching percussion since 8th grade (I am in my 3rd year in high school). I have been playing string instruments for a year and a half after taking classes in college. I have also been playing piano since I was about 10 and have picked up different instruments along the way like clarinet. I love teaching, and I firmly believe that almost anyone can be taught to do almost anything! I have music degrees from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, and USF in Tampa, Florida. After teaching at Hope for 6 years, I joined the Air Force to play with the world-class musicians that make up their bands.
