Coming from the struggling yet revolutionary country of Lebanon, I have found healing in expression and performance. Learning a new instrument requires patience, practice, and determination, and reinforcers can be a huge motivator (I know they were for me when I was learning). I started playing upright bass when I was 10 years old and quickly found that there was nothing that I enjoyed more than music. Throughout high school and college I played in orchestras, bands, jazz bands, rock bands and with singer songwriter friends. It was in college where I began teaching as part of a music for non-music majors elective and found that I really enjoyed showing people how to play an instrument. Read More

I love to provide each student with the instruction that best fits their goals and need! Regarding my methodology, I always adapt my classical vocal technique to the needs and the musical tastes of the students. My main goal is to help students achieving their goals, whatever they are! For beginning students who are children, I typically start with easy technical exercises.
