There are books for children level, as well as adult books, which may be accompanied by a workbook and a recital book. For my students who are more focused on skill growth, I stress the importance of putting the technique and skills I teach into context with the songs I assign. During the hour lesson, I spend roughly 5-7 minutes warming up the voice, then we jump right into working on repertoire.
