My number one goal is to help my students accomplish their musical dreams, whether that be a classical pianist, a pop singer, the front person for a rock band, write songs or compose music for film, or just sing their favorite song of all time, whatever it takes, I will make sure that we get to the musical destination. It's important that each student progresses at their own pace. For all students, regardless of instrument and experience, I aim to set goals together with them and use each lesson to advance toward the completion of those goals! Read More

Nothing brings me more pride and happiness than seeing my students learn and grow! In order to ensure this for each student, I pay close attention to what that student responds to best. I can therefore set realistic goals, which, when met, allow my students to naturally develop a sense of pride in their accomplishments - which I encourage by acknowledging those accomplishments and showing my own excitement and pride. In my voice lessons, I want to feel that the student is doing what they want to do, not just what I tell them. With this in mind, I work with the student to find songs or pieces that they want to try and sing. If it is an appropriate level of difficulty, we will work on it straight away. If it is a harder piece, We gradually work towards it, whilst simultaneously tackling other pieces with similar traits. Read More
