Throughout the rest of my schooling I served in some sort of volunteer tutor capacity, helping classmates and younger students. As my students get into more advanced music, I select solo literature that best fits their musical abilities. The voice is not something we can see or touch, so I often joke that singing is about learning Jedi mind tricks that help us achieve a healthy technique. I like to incorporate theory/musicianship and some piano into my lessons to create a well rounded understanding of singing as a musician.
