As a music teacher, I am passionate about giving people of all ages the tools for self-expression and collaboration. I am a performer, flautist and singer-songwriter based in Philadelphia and I have been an active member of the music community for over a decade. With a background in poetry and creative writing, my compositions combine storytelling and collage, and draw from my roots in folk music and RB. I have performed at music festivals such as South X Southwest, Firefly, XPoNential Music Festival, and I have opened for legendary acts such as Questlove and Talib Kweli. Read More

Nothing is more important to me than helping others develop a passion for music and I will use anything from Bach to Beethoven or The Beatles to Guns N'Roses to help them achieve it. Read More

My teaching style is fun, exciting, fresh, modern, educational, and accessible. My teaching philosophy is that music-making should be 50% fun and 50% productive. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how the voice works, what works best for your voice, how to use language as an avenue for healthy singing, and try new things you might need more clarification on at first. Voice lessons should be about how to utilize your voice in the way you want and that is precisely what students should expect from me. Read More
