My teaching experiences stems back to my undergraduate career at the John J. Cali School of music. I began teaching and tutoring underclassmen in theory, piano and voice while also teaching dance classes in the community. After I graduated I continued teaching and gained an assistantship to continue voice lessons to undergraduate non-majors. I also was the assistant director for our musical theater revue. After I returned from my masters work I contued teaching as various private schools in the New Jersey area before being hired as an artist affiliate at Bucknell University in 2015. Read More

Hi, my name is Leon, and I am a Countertenor from Newark, DE. I have been a student of music for over 13 years. My musical influences include Disney, Church music, Choir, Opera, and Musicals, and I also enjoy Karaoke now and then. The first two things that I teach in my studio is posture and breathing. I analyze the posture of the singer and find several yoga postures that can help the student to relax some tension and to be more comfortable. I help students to be more aware of how the breath works in their bodies by using several repeating breath exercises and yoga posture. My vocal technique is based on YogaVoice, meaning that I used Yoga principles combined with Vocal Technique exeecises to sing more organic and to achieve an authentic relaxed voice. Read More
