In 2012, I graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in Composition from Trinity University and in 2014, I earned an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts. Based on that information, I move forward with music notation and performance. For this age group, I believe acknowledging their progress and achievement is critical. As soon as I think the student is ready I start teaching simple songs by rote.
