I take aspects of different methods and combine them with my own to create a opportunity for the student to explore and experiment with their music, with out developing bad habits. I like to use the Suzuki books as a basis solely for musical progression, but technical set up is catered to differently for each student. I prefer to teach using the Suzuki books, since I believe it is a well rounded learning of fun music while teaching technique and musical abilities. I expect my students to practice at least 6 times a week. My students are encouraged to practice by ear, to encourage the love for music. If the student is more advanced, they will begin working on Carl Flesch Scales and Wolfhart etudes. My brothers and I attended weekly lessons at the school and music was part of our home life. I quickly developed a passion for music and became a more serious student in my pre-teen years.
