I am a patient teacher and encourge students to work at their own pace. If we need to spend more time on a certain concept or technique than one lesson allows, we will. I want to make sure that they understand throroughly before moving on to the next concept. At the same time, I want my students to feel challenged in their lessons so that they will be willing to go home and put the work in during their practice time. Read More

Allowing me to teach students music and allow those students to grow in their art is a great feeling. I enjoy working one on one, but need students to pay attention in lessons and practice as needed to advance and move forward. I believe it is important to have a long and diverse repertoire list. Read More

I have been teaching for over 15 years and I love watching students grow in their musical abilities. I get so excited when the passion comes out of them into their playing. I got my Bachelors in music performance on cello, but I started on piano and violin when I was six years old. I have performed all over Northeastern Ohio and it was a great experience being able to share the love of music with other people. Read More

When starting with a young beginner student, I typically start with the beginning Suzuki Method books or Essential Elements books. I will also work on school repertoire if applicable. Once they have advanced past the level of the Suzuki books, I will begin to introduce solo works appropriate for their level and desire. When teaching adults of varying abilities, my methods are much more tailored to their wants in terms of style of music, difficulty of the pieces and the speed at which they would like to learn. Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
