The bow arm is integral to a polished and effortless performance. Left hand of course is very important, but I pride myself on the work I do with the bow with both beginning and my advanced students. For intermediate/advanced students, I assess, most likely have them play, check the technique, will 100% make adjustments to the left arm/hand and also the bow arm/hand and also explain why I'm doing what I'm doing. I started giving Music lessons 20 years ago. I began giving private lessons and group lessons part time in the afternoons after I finish school in the mornings. Young students come to me asking me for lessons after a Gig or performance. I found very interesting and exiting to see the progress of the students with my own personal methods. We follow a process with disciple but we also have fun and we go to the direction that the student feels more attracted. Read More

I have been teaching both private and group lessons for ten years, teaching students in their homes, my home, and after. I have noticed a lot of violin students tend to be tense, and judgmental against themselves, so afraid of making a "mistake." So my first task is often to get them to relax, and love playing the violin. I search for ways to make it fun for them and help them learn the music they want to play. Read More

My teaching experience dates back to my freshman year of high school where I tutored a younger student through the Suzuki Method for the next 5-6 years until she went off to college out of state. I have taught part time through the Chicago Public Schools where I worked with two kindergarden aged students. I have lesson plans and objectives I would like to hit at each lesson but if a skill we are working on still needs more practice then I will not rush to the next task. Read More
