For beginning students, I typically start with the Suzuki Method while combining it with the Essential Elements Method. As the student learns the fundamentals I gradually add scales and exercises to further develop the student's technique. After further progress, I begin to introduce solo repertoire and add other pieces. I am a native of Long Island, New York, and have been trained in classical voice since I was eight years old and classical violin since I was three years old, working with world renowned artists. My most recent performances include Amy in Little Women with the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival coached by the composer himself, Mark Adamo, and Cunegonde in selections from Candide with Carnegie Mellon University Opera. Along with teaching from the Suzuki Book, I will supplement their learning with an etude book such as Wohlfahrt and Kreutzer.
