I have been playing the violin since I was 3, my father was my first violin teacher.  Music is a big part of my life and I do enjoy performing and teaching very much.  I love sharing my music knowledge with others, seeing my students making progress and achieving their goals is priceless and makes my life more worth living.  I have performed as violin soloist, chamber musician and concertmaster of orchestras, those are valuable experiences I had in life that I'd love to pass on to others.  I have also had student recitals every year in the past ten years, my students and I have toured and performed in China. While I was participating Edinberg festival In U.K, I had chance to share my music with young musicians and people. In addition to private studio teaching, both in-person and remote for 6 years, my teaching experience comes from being as an Adjunct Faculty in violin and viola for non-music majors at New York University, the orchestral viola coach at Mannes Prep Precollege Division, director of Chamber Music and violin/viola faculty at Thurnauer School of Music. My students at younger ages have passed auditions of prestigious music pre-college programs as well as school-region youth orchestra programs; college-age students have won scholarships at their colleges for music minors and double-majors. This is of most importance since it is difficult to change posture later on and bad posture can affect not only the quality of musical performance, but the health of the student as well.
