I believe there is no "cookie cutter" method to teaching so I tailor my lessons specifically to each of my students. I have found that having a strong foundation in classical music sets the tone for musical excellence for all styles, regardless of age or musical maturity. From that perspective I like to start all of my students on The Arban's and Herbert L. Clarke Method books for trumpet. Having learned from the philosophies of many of the great brass pedagogues of our time, I am knowledgeable about how to most efficiently play the trumpet well. I am knowledgeable in the techniques of Cichowicz, Schlossberg, and Jacobs and apply these different philosophies of brass playing to each of my students. He serves as the brass faculty of the Performing Arts Center of MetroWest, and teaches brass at Note-worthy Experiences Music Studio and Brimmer and May School.
